Safeguarding Policy:
We strive to ensure that all children, young people and adults at risk are safeguarded from abuse and have an enjoyable tennis experience. Everyone who is involved in tennis has a shared responsibility to support this by promoting the welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk.
Anti-Bullying Policy:
Ensure that bullying behaviour is not tolerated or condoned. Require all members of the club to sign up to this policy. Take action to investigate and respond to any reports of bullying from children and young people. Ensure that coaches are given access to information, guidance and training on bullying.
Diversity and Inclusion Policy:
Tennis should be enjoyed by everyone who wants to play the game, whatever the level. Accordingly, the Club encourages equal opportunities and does not accept discrimination by race, gender, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, nationality, religion or belief, ability or disability.
Online Safety and Communication Policy:
Hanham Tennis Club strives to ensure that all children (anyone under 18) and adults at risk are safeguarded from abuse and have an enjoyable tennis experience. This policy sets out how the Club uses the internet and social media, and the procedures for doing so.
It also outlines how we expect members, coaches and parents/carers, to behave online and communicate each other and with players.
Photography and Filming Policy:
The purpose of this policy is to:
• protect children who take part in Hanham CC Tennis Club’s activities and events, specifically those where photographs and videos may be taken.
• set out the overarching principles that guide our approach to photographs/videos being taken of children during our events and activities.
• ensure that we operate in line with our values and within the law when creating, using and sharing photographs/videos of children.
